Here's how to do it:
Gmail
There are multiple ways to whitelist in Gmail. Heres how:
To move senders to your Gmail Primary tab:
Drag the email from your ‘Promotions’ tab to your ‘Primary’ tab.
When asked “Do this for future messages?“, select “Yes“.
To add a sender to your contact list:
1. Open the email in your inbox. 2. Hover over the sender’s name. 3. Select “Add to contacts” to save the sender to your Contacts list.
You can also whitelist in Gmail before opening an email. To do it, just hover over the sender’s name next to the subject line and simply select “Add to contacts“.
iPhone
Tap the sender’s name.
Choose “Create new contact”
Tap “Done” to save..
Android
Tap the picture of the sender.
Tap the “Add to contacts” icon.
Tap “Create new contact”.
Choose the correct account if you are signed into multiple emails addresses.
Tap the check mark to save.
Apple Mail
Open the email in your inbox.
Click the sender’s email address.
Click “Add to contacts“.
Outlook
Open the email in your inbox.
Right click “Click here” to download images in the grey bar at the top of the message.
Click “Add sender to safe sender’s list“.
Yahoo Mail
Open the email in your inbox.
Click on the sender’s email address.
Click “…”.
Choose “Add to contacts“.
Add additional information if needed.
Click “Save” to finish.
Hotmail
Log in to Hotmail and go to “Settings” at the top right of the page.
Click on “More mail settings“.
Click “Safe and blocked senders“.
Insert the email address you want to whitelist and click “Add to list“.
